Filter Sock is:

  • Easy to install – No Trenching needed, conforms to ground, can be laid on frozen ground, stake every 10 feet. Roll down a hill into stakes. 

  • Durable – Can be run over and does not break: just fluff it up.

  • Low maintenance – Repair holes with a zip tie, less overlapping joints, when job is done cut open and spread

  • Meets specifications for erosion control – Many state agencies approve and recommend this product.

  • Environmentally friendly – Photo-degradable Geo-textile weave will naturally break down in time. Also available in a bio-degradable cotton weave.

  • Lasts longer and works better than silt fence and straw waddle – also requires less maintenance over the course of the job so therefore this saves money! 

  • Easy to remove – by spreading the natural mulch when complete, you aid in regrowth of vegetation. 

  • Settles and filters out sediment from storm water run-off on job sites. 

  • Filters out 99.9% oil sediment and impurities in run- off water.

  • Has to survive coiling and handling so it can take some abuse. Its also easy to transport.  Delivered coiled and wrapped on a pallet.
